We implement SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, regular security reviews, and staff training to protect your data. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable precautions.

9. Google User Data (Google Search Console)

Our SEO management platform, IHT SEO Tools (hosted at tools.intelhunt.com), integrates with Google Search Console using Google OAuth 2.0 and the Search Console API. When you choose to connect a Google account, and only with your explicit consent, we request read-only access to Search Console data using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly scope.

  • What we access: search-performance metrics for the property you select — clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, and search queries. We do not request or access your email, contacts, files, or any other Google data.
  • How we use it: solely to display SEO performance reports and to update keyword-ranking data within the IHT SEO Tools dashboard for the website you connected. We never use Google user data for advertising, and we never sell it.
  • Storage & retention: OAuth tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256) and used only to retrieve your Search Console data when you request it. Imported metrics are stored securely and associated with your website. You can disconnect at any time from within the platform, which revokes and deletes the stored tokens, and you may also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Limited Use: IHT SEO Tools' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
